Oblique Build Guide
Step 1:
Confirm package contents:
Ensure all order items are included such as plates and pcbs. Also ensure that gaskets, feet and alignment sticks are in the accessories box. If any items are missing reach out to the vendor you purchased it from.
Step 2:
Inspect the keyboard:
Look over board for any damage that could have happened during shipping. If there are any issues be sure to reach out to your vendor as soon as possible.
Step 3:
Test the PCB:
Test the PCB using VIA and the JSON file found on the Resource Files page. If you ever need to flash the PCB, open QMK toolbox, load the .bin file, hold the reset switch for 3 seconds then click flash. Be sure to test the PCB using tweezers before building.
Step 4:
Build plate/PCB assembly:
Use your choice of stabilizers, switches and plate to assemble the internals.
Step 5:
Seperate top and bottom case:
Remove 6x case screws using hex M1.5 screwdriver and remove top case.
Step 6:
Install alignment sticks and feet:
Install the included alignment sticks into the 4x cutouts in the bottom case corners. Next, install the 4x included adhesive feet onto the bottom of the keyboard.
Step 7:
Install gaskets:
Choose your preferred durometer and press-fit the 10x silicone gaskets into the top and bottom case.
Step 8:
Install internals:
Plug in the JST cable to the PCB and ensure the cable sits in the channel while lowering the assembly into the case.
Step 9:
Finishing assembly:
Replace the top case onto the bottom case and re-install the 6x M2 case screws.
